Breasts, whatever the size, are very important to women. Therefore knowing how to take care of them should be on the top of women’s lists. Unfortunately breast care has been overlooked and has not been a topic of conversation, as for example, how to put on lipstick might be.

Quick weight fluctuations -Losing weight quickly affects the chest perhaps more than anywhere else. This means if your weight goes up and down your breast will enlarge and shrink causing the skin to lose its elasticity. Basically your breasts are more likely to sag because of this. Therefore manage your weight wisely. If you want to lose weight do it slowly with good diet and exercise so that your change in lifestyle will facilitate you maintaining the weight you lose.

Moisturising breasts as they are very delicate – Moisturizer is a substance that helps ones skin trap moisture in the cells. When skin is moisturized it is healthier. Healthy skin is stronger and more flexible. It is necessary to have strong chest skin as women’s breast will change in size (even if it is a small amount) over a lifetime, due to for example puberty and pregnancy. Therefore it is very important for women to apply moisturizers on the breast and its surrounding areas as part of taking care of their breasts.

Checking the breasts is very important part of breast care – A big part of being breast aware is simply to know how ones breast look and feel normally. Some women’s breasts are normally lumpy, some are not. In order to detect any abnormalities it is recommended by health professionals that women check their breasts from time to time. There’s no right or wrong way to check ones breasts. Try to get used to looking at and feeling ones breasts regularly. Women can check their breasts at any time it can be when sitting, standing or lying down. It is advisable to check all over the breasts including your armpits and collarbone. Women might find that around ovulation and menstruation their breasts change and may even develop lumps. Therefore one should avoid checking their breasts around this time.

Get the right fitting bra – Gravity pulls on breasts, therefore as part of breast care on should always try to wear undergarments that are comfortable. Well fitting bras has been said to be the best weapon women have in the fight to keep their breast from going too far south. The bras have to be the right size and type. Because women’s breasts size changes with time. It is important for women to be aware of these changes so that they can measure themselves and ensure that their bra fits correctly.

Women…the type of bra you wear depends on the size of your breast and your lifestyle. The bigger your breast the more protection it needs. Therefore strong long straps will be best. Women with smaller breasts can use a larger variety of bras. Padded bras are sometimes very popular among women with smaller breasts because they can create the illusion of larger breasts. Avoid wearing bras that do not allow breasts to breathe all day and all night.

There is a saying that goes: Good posture can be gained by abiding by this old saying, ‘tummy in and shoulders back’ – Bad posture is another major foe of beautiful looking breasts. Good posture supports the breast therefore making them look bigger and well shaped and makes you feel healthier. Exercise strengthens the muscles that support your breasts. So make sure that you do that regularly as well. If you have problems with your posture, try to join a high-quality fitness program and seek help of a chiropractor. Also some support underwear claim to help with posture problems. When it comes to breast care and the way women’s breasts look this is a major tip.

When exercising women should wear a sports bra for support- Sagging can be induced further by not wearing a sports bra when exercising or running. A study done by a research team at Portsmouth University in England showed that bouncing (that leads to sagginess) was reduced by almost 40 percent when women wore a regular bra. However, bouncing was reduced by a considerable 78 percent when the proper sports bra was worn while jogging.
